MUSIC
Essential to worship at United, music feeds, enlivens and inspires us. Sung words reflect who we are and what we believe as a worshipping church. Music at United incorporates a variety of styles, including traditional, contemporary, and popular music.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8 p.m. and typically sings at the 10:30 a.m. service September through May on the first three Sundays each month. The choir is a supportive community, sharing music as well as joys, concerns and prayers each week. During the summer months, guest musicians enhance Sunday worship with special music.
Festival Choir
In addition to our Chancel Choir, the Festival Choir enhances worship twice a year, during Advent and on Easter Sunday. The Festival Choir augments our Chancel Choir by rehearsing with the Chancel choir for 6 weeks prior to these special services, enabling individuals to participate in our music program, who are otherwise unable to make a weekly commitment.

Pipe Organ at United
Pride Choir
The Pride Choir rehearses on Sundays during the month of June following the 10:30 a.m. service and sings for our annual Pride Service.
Special Music
Occasionally, concerts are presented for the community that feature guest musicians and The United Churches pipe organ. Annually, United Churches and The Olympia Chapter of the American Guild of Organists present a Holy Week organ concert, featuring the organ and performers from the Guild.
More information on our Pipe Organ can be found here.
