Worship at TUCO during June and July, 2010

You may have wondered how we will worship together at TUCO over the next few months.  Worship Ministry and the Worship Planning team are working to provide meaningful worship experiences during June and July as we go through the process of hiring the interim pastor.  We expect the interim pastor will be joining us in August.  During the month of June, we will hold two Sunday morning services on June 6th and 13th at the usual 8:15 am and 11:00 am times.  We will move to a single 10:00 am service on June 20^th.   

On June 6^th, Paul McCann will preach and offer communion at both services.  On June 13^th, Mark Boyd and the youth will lead the services.  Brooke Johnson will lead the service on June 20^th.   As we’re done in past years we will host the Rivermen for a Dixieland jazz service on June 27^th.   

Rabbi Marna Sapsowitz will lead the service on July 4th.  On July 11, Debe Nelson will lead the service and offer communion.  Susan Yarrow Morris preaches on July 18^th, and Ed Evans preaches on July 25^th.   

Worship Ministry has been reflecting on the 2009 Stewardship theme:  “Sustained by Faith * Gathered by Grace* Illuminated by Worship* Nurtured by Community”.  We believe we will move through June and July grounded in these themes.  See you in church this summer!
