From now until July 2, the Public is invited to submit written comments to the Olympia City Council regarding the allocation of federal funds and the transfer of the vacant Smith Building in the city’s downtown to the Family Support Center. If approved, the action would make possible for upwards of 60 adults and children to leave the streets for safe housing accommodations. Our support for this proposal is wholly consistent with the priority reflected in our local benevolence allocations to the Family Support Center.
