Information for
Communion Servers, Lay Leaders, Ushers and Greeters is available on
line. This saves printing, paper and mailing costs. |
| 3. Please recycle your paper and
aluminum cans in the
appropriately marked receptacles. We recycle anything we can recycle. |
| 4. Recycling used
Inkjet Cartridges |
|
We have also changed to a new ink jet, cell phone, and laser jet
recycling company that is local, in Lacey WA. Did you know that "Every year
nearly 2 billion cartridges are packed into the earth's landfills. By utilizing
a remanufactured cartridge, you will be helping to save the earth...one
cartridge at a time." Rapid Refill Ink:
www.rapidrefillink.com
will handle your needs and are helping us generate an income.
|
|
The container is colorful, waiting for your contributions. Money
generated by your donations will go to the Wellspring Covenant budget
for future endeavors. Please bring your used ink cartridges and just put
them into the container. There are also some coupons on the side of the
container where you can go and get recycled ink jet cartridges for your
printers. We are excited about this new opportunity to recycle items we
all use, instead of filling the landfill.

Using paper
for coffee instead of Styrofoam cups. We are working towards using ceramic
cups for all our events, as ceramic is best !! |
8. Remember the
Building Materials
Drop off Center

at the Hawks Prairie Transfer Station. They accept good reusable
building materials of all sorts are then sold at the Sound Builders
Re-Source store downtown, which is run by Habitat for Humanity. The
whole operation keeps perfectly good stuff out of the landfill, and
provides lower cost materials for folks, and benefits HFH. Here's the
