OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We proclaim the Church of Jesus Christ alive!
Seeking to know and do God’s will in today’s world,
We gather together to celebrate God’s love in worship -
- Remembering, Praising, Thanking, and Glorifying God
- Cherishing our Judeo-Christian heritage
- Hoping and praying for the renewal and unity of all creation
We show God’s love and speak God’s truth in
- Declaring the Good News
- Promoting the reconciliation of people to God and one another
- Serving as a prophetic presence in the world
- Affirming Christ’s power to make all things new
We provide, as a communion of the Spirit, for mutual support and nurture through
- Teaching God’s truth as revealed through the Bible
- Strengthening individual and family life
- Encouraging contact and understanding among the generations
- Offering each other caring and love
We respond, as God’s ministers all, to human needs wherever found,
- Working for peace and justice
- Helping to feed the hungry
- Reaching out to those in need of spiritual support
- Dedicating our time, talents, and resources
We recognize our ministry and mission to be open to all God’s children
- regardless of race, gender, economic status, differing ability, sexual orientation, or age,
- as we take steps, through prayer and education,
- to further our understanding and respect for all people.
We proclaim the future to be God’s!
