Easter Festival Worship, April 8, at 10:30 am begins with the Festival Choir singing an upbeat and thrilling traditional Gospel spiritual, “Can’t Keep-a That Glory In.” As Jill Komura, Assistant Pastor leads us through the timeless and hopeful texts, we will experience in word and song the reassurance of the Resurrection. Other Gospel music includes “He Never Failed Me Yet,” “Ride On, King Jesus,” “Praise His Holy Name,” and “Hope for Resolution.” Strings, brass, organ and percussion will lead the congregation in the traditional “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today” and other Easter hymns.
9:00 am worshippers will celebrate Easter in a more informal service, also in the Sanctuary. Coffee Fellowship follows each service.
Sunday School teachers and children will study the Easter story, with crafts, games, treats and an Easter egg hunt at 10:00 am. Please join us.
