Sunday School
Time: 10:30 am – 11:45 am
The children attend worship through the beginning of the 10:30 service, then they move to a brief gathering in the social hall downstairs where the weekly theme is repeated.
We use the Seasons Fusion curriculum
Our children travel by age groups rotating weekly through different stations. This model allows our children to experience the meaning of our lectionary texts in a variety of ways, through art, science, drama, movement and other hands-on ways.
There is a presc
hool class for our youngest learners who will meet consistently in the yellow room.
All children will meet together after their instruction time for snacks and fellowship before their parents pick them up. This timing also allows their parents some time to have their own fellowship.
It is our hope that this new curriculum and schedule will help our kids to:
- explore the meaning and mystery of the Bible individually and personally
- continue to celebrate in worship, education and service
- engage in ministries of love, justice and witness
- live in inclusive communities of faith and
- participate in the larger community of faith by following the seasons and lessons of the church year
