Opportunities for Children
Every Sunday, we welcome a special opportunity for our children to wonder about God in a time especially for children. We hope that children will worship with their families until this moment in worship — when they’ll be invited to go to their Sunday School classes.
Lenten Sunday School for Children
During Lent, our children will be exploring the life of Jesus leading up to Easter. Focusing on the events of Holy Week, our children will build a “garden”. Each week a symbol of Easter will be used to teach the lesson. We will use music, crafts and story telling to prepare for Easter.
We currently offer two Sunday School classes. One class for children ages 3 through age 6 and a second class for children ages 7-11 (or 5th grade). The younger children meet in the yellow room and the older children meet in the blue room. Volunteer teachers lead our classes using the curriculum.

Children and youth participate worship, Sunday school, youth groups, help with service projects, and participate in leadership roles.
