Ugandan Orphans Choir, February 24, 5:00 pm

2013-Ugandan-orphansThe Ugandan Orphans Choir is presenting a concert of lively, authentic Ugandan music, dance and story-telling in United Churches sanctuary, February 24, at 5:00 p.m. Come hear an engaging evening of music. The concert is part of a ten-month tour, raising awareness and offering opportunities for sponsorships of children through Childcare Worldwide.

Youth Lock-In

November 2 from 7:00 pm – November 3 at 8:00 am all youth are invited to spend the night in the church for games, food, and maybe even bowling.

Youth and Graduation Service on June 10

Please join us on June 10 at 10 am as we honor and celebrate our graduating seniors.

The seniors will be leading the 10am worship service and we will be recognizing them during this special service. There will be cake following the service.

Pentecost Sunday and Family Worship Experience

This Sunday is Pentecost and our Pentecost offering is collected. This Sunday, May 27 is our last Family Worship Experience at 10:30 am for the summer, in addition to the collection of our Pentecost offering. We hope you will join us.

On Pentecost the Holy Spirit overpowered the barriers of culture and race.

June 10 Summer Worship Begins

The summer worship schedule begins on Sunday, June 10, with a single service at 10:00am. Graduating seniors will be honored and the youth will be planning major elements of the service, assisted by Youth Director Lara Crutsinger-Perry.

Single services will continue through September 9, with Family Worship at 10:00.

Easter Kids

We had a fun and festive Easter at The United Churches with our children.  We had activities for all ages.  We started off our morning with an Easter egg hunt, then after the children’s message in the 10:30 service, kids streamed downstairs into the social hall to plant flowers, read the Bible story for the season, create butterfly art, and even  play a little basketball.  We had bunny-oriented snacks, and some of us maybe a little ...
