Summer Music, 10 am Worship

Solo and ensemble musicians have been confirmed for summer worship, which begins on June 10, at 10:00 am. A full and varied schedule includes many of your favorite United Churches musicians, including the youth and seniors on June 10, Beth and Gib Rossing on June 17, Deb Reynolds on June 24, and the St. Louis Rivermen Dixieland Band on July 1.

Dixieland Service July 1, 10 am

Get ready to tap your toes at this year’s Dixieland service on July 1, at 10:00 am. The St. Louis Rivermen Dixieland Band will again donate their services for the full worship service, playing jazz arrangements of old Gospel and revival tunes.

June 3 Choir Recognition

June 3 is the final day of the seasonal two-service Sunday schedule. Chancel Choir and other musicians will be honored at the 10:30 service. Musicians and families will gather for their year-end potluck on Sunday afternoon.

Sunday School students will enjoy their last official Sunday School hour by making special gifts to honor their teachers. Their thank you gifts will be presented at the June 10 single 10:00am service.

Good Friday Labyrinth, April 6, 5:30 pm

Good Friday meditation will take place in the Social Hall, with worshippers quietly walking the paths of the Labyrinth, at their own pace, in the Social Hall. Labyrinth walkers may arrive anytime, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Palm Sunday

  Today is  Palm Sunday. Join us for worship at 9 am or 10:30. The church will be decorated with palm branches.

Palm Sunday, April 1, we will celebrate the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem with the traditional display of Palms. Hot Cross Buns will be served at the Fellowship hour following both services.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week.
