Pacific NW Annual Conference Begins today

It is a sunny morning and almost 60 in Wenatchee as representatives of the Churches of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the United Church of Christ are gathering for a 1:30 PM start in the Grand Apple Ballroom of the Wenatchee Convention Center.  It is part of what we do to enrich our Covenant and to remind ourselves that we are connected to one another.

Faith Action Network Lobby Day: Feb 20

United Churches Annual Meeting: Jan 20

An Invitation to All Ministries & Committees

Christmas Offering

On Sunday, December 23, we will collect two special offerings including both the Christmas Joy offering for the Presbyterian Church USA and the Christmas Fund Offering of the United Church of Christ, both of which support retired ministers and leaders in both denominations. Offering envelopes will be provided. We welcome your contributions for those that have announced good news of great joy in our shared faith.

Marriage Equality… and The United Churches

On November 6, the state of Washington voted to approve marriage for same-sex couples. With the blessing of our Council, the Marriage Equality Task Force worked hard in these past few months to advocate for this legislation.

The Council made a decision to engage in this work for gays and lesbians which left some members of our congregation feeling overlooked and unheard. As a federated congregation, whose mission is to “mutual support and nurture,” we want to care for each other ...
