Ugandan Orphans Choir, February 24, 5:00 pm

2013-Ugandan-orphansThe Ugandan Orphans Choir is presenting a concert of lively, authentic Ugandan music, dance and story-telling in United Churches sanctuary, February 24, at 5:00 p.m. Come hear an engaging evening of music. The concert is part of a ten-month tour, raising awareness and offering opportunities for sponsorships of children through Childcare Worldwide.

Feb 24 Ugandan Orphans Choir–hosts needed

United Churches’ Fine Arts Event Series is sponsoring the Ugandan Orphans Choir in concert on Sunday, February 24, at 5:00 pm. This delightful choir of eight-to-twelve year olds will sing and dance their hearts out for us. They are traveling internationally to raise awareness of the plight of Ugandan orphans, to offer sponsorships of orphans and to seek financial support for their orphanages.

Christmas Offering

On Sunday, December 23, we will collect two special offerings including both the Christmas Joy offering for the Presbyterian Church USA and the Christmas Fund Offering of the United Church of Christ, both of which support retired ministers and leaders in both denominations. Offering envelopes will be provided. We welcome your contributions for those that have announced good news of great joy in our shared faith.

Per Capita Payments Help TUCO’s Operating Budget

Both the Presbyterian and United Church of Christ denominations of our federated church have national offices that are supported by per capita fees paid by member churches in the denomination. The per capita fee is an assessment of a set dollar amount for each member of a church, to be paid to the denomination. This money is used to support the upkeep and outreach of the denomination, either by direct contributions to mission projects or passed down through the churches ...

This Sunday is Pentecost and our Pentecost offering is collected. This Sunday, May 27 is our last Family Worship Experience at 10:30 am for the summer, in addition to the collection of our Pentecost offering. We hope you will join us.

CROP Walk May 6

Just one week now! Our Crop Walk is next Sunday, May 6.

Three reasons demonstrate why this is a significant event in the life and mission of our church:

(1) Our contributions, offered as a matter of faith, make possible life-changing projects overseas
