Easter Kids

We had a fun and festive Easter at The United Churches with our children.  We had activities for all ages.  We started off our morning with an Easter egg hunt, then after the children’s message in the 10:30 service, kids streamed downstairs into the social hall to plant flowers, read the Bible story for the season, create butterfly art, and even  play a little basketball.  We had bunny-oriented snacks, and some of us maybe a little ...

Easter Festival, Sunday, April 8

Easter Festival Worship features a celebratory, traditional service at 10:30am, with Gospel songs, African-American spirituals, and traditional Easter hymns. Festival choir, organ, orchestra, soprano soloist Danika Winkley and pianist Art Peterson will offer musical gifts. The 9:00 am service will be a simpler, less traditional service. Trinity Sokol and Deborah Reynolds will bring a special musical offering, “Joy Comes in the Morning.”

Easter Sunday Coffee Hour

Join us Easter Sunday, April 8th for treats and fellowship after worship.

We’ll have tables set up in the Chapel area after each service with lots of goodies provided by many TUCO church friends.

Take a minute to stop, relax, and enjoy the blessings of Easter day!

Our choir will perform at the 10:30 service, and both services will be in the sanctuary.

Lent Continues: March 11

The Second Sunday of Lent is March 11. Mark Boyd will be preaching at both services.
join us following the 10:30 am service for a Celebration of Mark and Julie’s 12 years with us. It has been a exciting time, and we will miss them.

Remember, it is also the beginning of Daylight Saving Time. So turn your clocks ahead one hour, so that you don’t miss the festivities.

Palm Sunday Hot Cross Buns

Worship Ministry will be providing the snacks and treat for Palm Sunday, which is April 1.

We will be providing Hot Cross Buns for you, plus coffee and tea.

If you traditionally make Hot Cross Buns, and would like to share them with us, please let me know and plan to bring them on Sunday.

We will be providing snacks for both services.

Children’s Pageant, December 18th at 10:30 am

This is a reminder to all of our families and children to attend the Children’s Pageant at 10:30 am next Sunday on 12/18.  Our talented children will be recreating the nativity story.  

And speaking of our talented children, if you have a role in the pageant or would like one, please arrive in the sanctuary for rehearsal on 12/18 at 9:30 am.
