Summer Arts Series…formerly known as VBS

We are trying something different this year. Instead of offering a traditional VBS only for children, TUCO is partnering with Westminster to offer a summer arts series that is open to people of all ages!  We have designed a special 3 week series that includes pottery, mosaic and batik art in a family friendly atmosphere for all ages.

Summer Faith Formation, Summer Stories of Faith: Splash Into God’s Word

The United Churches of Olympia will be offering a faith formation program for children 5 and up during the single service at 10 am during the Summer.
Children are encouraged to go to the service until dismissal at the children’s message and then attend this exciting opportunity downstairs in the social hall.

Vacation Bible School Mega Sports Camp – Beyond The Gold

Vacation Bible school will be offered again with The United Churches of Olympia co-hosting with
Westminster Presbyterian Church (1925 Boulevard Rd. SE).

Our theme this year is “Mega Sports Camp: Beyond the Gold” to coincide with the Summer 2012 Olympic Games in London. There will be sports, crafts, fellowship, Biblical learning and other activities during the week long Vacation Bible School offered from June 25th-June 29th
from 9 am-12 noon.

Pentecost Sunday and Family Worship Experience

This Sunday is Pentecost and our Pentecost offering is collected. This Sunday, May 27 is our last Family Worship Experience at 10:30 am for the summer, in addition to the collection of our Pentecost offering. We hope you will join us.

On Pentecost the Holy Spirit overpowered the barriers of culture and race.

June 10 Summer Worship Begins

The summer worship schedule begins on Sunday, June 10, with a single service at 10:00am. Graduating seniors will be honored and the youth will be planning major elements of the service, assisted by Youth Director Lara Crutsinger-Perry.

Single services will continue through September 9, with Family Worship at 10:00.
