be joining us as we break through our day to day lives and enjoy the weekend.

The ALL CHURCH RETREAT is happening
August 21-23 at Pilgrim Firs. It promises to be a great time for
all. Joining us as we explore our theme, "Breakthrough", is
storyteller and musician Dayton Edmonds, an enchanting speaker
and weaver of tales.
Brooke Johnson will be leading a
wonderful VBS session for our children and youth.
Come worship in the woods.

These prices reflect the discount the
church is offering you, because we want you to "Come to Camp".
However if you want to assist others who may need a scholarship,
simply add 10% to the above prices when writing your check.

Summer Camps for All
|
Whether it is kids going to camp, families going
to camp or adults going to camp there is so much to enjoy. There is
boating, swimming, skiing, hiking, sunning, visiting, reading, or just
plain relaxing. But none of those activities can compare with what you
get when you meet an old friend anew, or get to know someone you share a
pew with on Sundays.

Camp gives us an opportunity to actually live out
what we hear from the pulpit, to work on our spiritual growth, to reach
out to each others in ways beyond Sunday mornings, to explore the
relationships God has provided for us.
|
We are fortunate at the United Churches of Olympia
because we have 3 different camps to choose from. Two in the UCC
conference, Pilgrim Firs is a retreat center outside Port Orchard.
Surrounding Lake Flora, this secluded retreat center has 3 lodges and 11
cabins, on 120 acres. N-SID-SEN is a retreat center on the shores of
Lake Coeur d'Alene. Among it's 270 acres are 14 cabins, 3 lodges and a
private swim cove. Sound View is a Presbyterian camp on the scenic key
Peninsula. 105 acres on the shores of the Puget Sound include 2 lodges,
5 chalets and multiple tent sites

Puget Sound Interfaith Youth Camp is a five-day
camp for kids of middle school age. It will take place at YMCA Camp

N-Sid-Sen is a year-round camp and
conference center located on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene in
northern Idaho. The name comes from a phrase of the Coeur d'Alene
native people meaning "Point of Inspiration". This incredibly beautiful
site includes 270 acres and almost a mile of shore line.

Pilgrim Firs is a year-round camp and
conference center on the Kitsap Peninsula of western Washington. It is
named for our Pilgrim heritage and our Northwest home. This beautiful
site includes 120 wooded acres of which 40 have been developed with
cabins, lodges and outdoor recreation areas for guest use.

Pilgrim Firs is a
multi use facility offering a variety of settings for programs and
activities. The site includes play and sports fields, a lake with
canoeing and kayaking, and a floating dock for swimming. There are
hiking trails, indoor and outdoor chapel/meditation spaces, two campfire
areas, basketball and volleyball courts within the four acre play field
and many secluded quiet places where you can enjoy this beautiful piece
of God's creation.
