New Member Class
Purpose: To help individuals understand more fully what membership in the church entails.
When: Last Sunday of every month
Time: After second worship service

A light lunch will be provided and childcare is available. Here is the general format:
- Meet new friends.
- Learn about the History and Governance of the Presbyterian Church and the United Church of Christ.
- Learn about what we believe.
- Clarify what you believe.
- Learn more about the specific ministries of the United Churches.
The United Churches is a Federated church of the Presbyterian USA and the United Church of Christ. You can choose under which denomination you wish to join, or join as a TUCO member, which is neither affiliation, but a member of the Untied Churches of Olympia.
The class meets once and participants can decide whether or not they want to become a member. There is an opportunity every month to meet others considering membership.
