New Member Class
Have you wondered what it means to join a church? Are you interested in becoming more involved in the life we share together at The United Churches? Are you eager to hear the affirmation, you belong?
We will be beginning a three-part opportunity toward membership in January. In each of our gatherings, we’ll explore a different aspect of belonging: seeking, loving and practicing. We will use the book You Belong: A Handbook for Church Members by Allen H. Marheine as our guide.
Each of these gatherings is mandatory (not because we’re strict but because it’s that important). As we try to work with many schedules, there is no date to put on your calendar yet, but if you’re interested, please contact Elsa at elsa@theunitedchurches.org so we can save you a spot and
order you a book.
The United Churches is a Federated church of the Presbyterian USA and the United Church of Christ. You can choose under which denomination you wish to join, or join as a TUCO member, which is neither affiliation, but a member of the Untied Churches of Olympia.
