Dear Church Family,
I have decided that it is time for me to move on from my position as Director of Children’s Ministries here at the United Churches of Olympia.
Five years ago I followed the direction of my own prayerful reflection and accepted this position. Now, circumstances and further prayer are pulling me in other directions.
I have been blessed by the many great and generous people in our church body who have helped me to feel successful in my ministry to our kids. I have learned tremendous lessons, not only professionally but personally. I have been surrounded by a capable, supportive and amusing staff that I will miss.
I thank those people who have not only helped me in my job here, but have helped my whole family feel embraced and loved. My family looks forward to a bright and vibrant future with our church
family in our church home here at The United Churches of Olympia. I am encouraged and excited to see our church move into the next phase, and excited (and yes, somewhat sad too) to move into my own. My last day will be on August 15 2012.
